Black 7 – Look Inside Review
Black 7 is a German Guitarist and Solo Artist. On October 8th, 2021, Black 7 released his debut studio album, “Look Inside,” which includes fourteen melodic instrumental heavy rock songs that would gratify fans of Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, and Gary Moore.
Immediately after the listener presses that play button, one is welcomed to the opening track, UNLEASHED, which unleashes an energetic guitar virtuoso playing; following behind is a welcome of melodic/rhythmic riffing and energetic drumming playing, which continues until the end of the track.
Following suit with the remaining thirteen songs, where each piece has its own identity and unique chemistry (but keeping hold of that energy and characteristic from the opening title track), which also provides a solid deliverance of excellent top-notch devilmanship of the guitar and drum playing. The music itself is well composed and arranged.
LARS takes the listener on a magical instrumental journey. He has created and crafted a perfect release while taking influences from bands and artists such as Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Rainbow, Sevendust, Dream Theater, Slipknot, Korn, Satriani, Gary Moore, Al Di Meola, and Paco De Lucia.
Black 7 is topped with this ear-to-ear perfection of providing the listener with each piece having a (character) identity/mood of their own, isn’t rushed, never dull, not repetitive, each mood/musical element/structure; added at the right moment (timely placed) where each piece can be either fast parts alternate.
Black 7’s music technical demands are met with emotionally resonant guitar riffs, powerful solo guitar virtuoso of multifaceted riffs with changes of melodic, rhythmic, progressive, mellow, and various speed sections.
Additional acoustic sections, full of energy/life, epic, nodding of head moments, rooted in the eighties and nineties mixture of heavy and rock, as well as orchestral, progressive, and sometimes quiet/relaxing, beautiful, uplifting moments. So much more featured/embedded within the music.
Look Inside is an appealing, entertaining release that should be played immediately. Suggest maybe a quiet night in or sitting outside on the porch, with a drink and watching the world go by, or those unwinding evenings while creating artwork or painting your miniatures—another musical art, where one can witness the magical work via one’s speakers or headphones.
We want to give a shoutout to Black 7 for letting us review his album, Look Inside. Now, we are going to conclude the review by talking about the final three sins and concluding the review.
